Deanne's not your typical real estate agent. Her bottom line focus isn't limited to just money. Her focus is more about your new home. Deanne worked with us for over a year, helping us to find our new home. We had lots of challenges in our search, financial limitations being one. I did a good bit of searching and leg work on my own, because I knew Deanne wasn't going to make much money with us. I thought she was like other real estate agents I'd worked with. Those agents stuck with me only long enough to see that our goal of a home would take lots of time and wouldn't result in a lot of money for them. But Deanne was different. No matter how many homes we looked at that didn't meet our criteria, she remained steadfast and amazingly optimistic. Finally, we found a home that fit our criteria, over a year after I first contacted Deanne. When we started working with lenders, Deanne's dedication and Spirit became really clear to me. I know most agents wouldn't even have bothered staying with us for such a long time, let alone do what Deanne did for us with those first two lenders. When Deanne saw that we unwittingly were getting ripped off by these lenders, she got on the phone with them. She fought for us with passion and Spirit that is only born from a place of genuine care. Deanne helped us find a home, find a good lender and purchase a home, and more than that. She helped me to see that there are hard-working people out there, working from a place not just of money, but of Spirit, passion and care. Deanne was our ally and Blessing in our difficult quest for a home. Thank you, Deanne, for everything you did (and Ed, too)! With you, we made it happen. Working with you was a priviledge for me; one I hope others come to know, too. I wish you and Ed Blessings of good fortune, peace and joy! Gratefully, Toni Fisher
Ed Barnhart guided me through the purchase of my house last year this time, and the first anniversary of my settlement date is only a few weeks away. Like every other busy parent, I have little time in my schedule to stop and formally thank someone for something they may have helped me with along the way. But, looking back, I still feel so lucky to have found Ed as my real estate agent a few words of support are minimal compared to all the time and effort he gave toward helping me buy my house. Of the entire time Ed was my agent, so many positive qualities in his personality stood out that it's difficult to highlight just a few. But, the ones that were most important to me are listed here'with a little elaboration. Patience No matter how many questions I asked or how many times I asked the same one, Ed didn't seem to mind. Even more, I think he finds satisfaction in the teaching'and it seemed important to him that I understood things I asked him about. I wanted to know every little detail every step of the way (at first, anyway). With Ed, I never felt like an annoyance along the way, only a student. He cares for the people he's dealing with and you don't find that caring attitude often anymore. Ed's a rare treat. I brought my kids along when I scheduled with Ed to see a house. If you've never taken an eight-year old boy into a stranger's house, you haven't lived. Ed didn't even blink; he was just great about that. My son has even told me Ed's going to sell us our next house'and my son is right. Communication Ed put a great deal of time and effort into our communication, whether in email, on the phone or, later, in person. He never missed a single question, took the time to explain anything and everything I needed to know thoroughly and with clarity. Phone calls were returned promptly, emails answered usually within hours and, although I knew his schedule is very fast-paced, he never rushed me through any conversations and I always felt like his only client'which I knew wasn't true. But, it was a darn nice feeling to have that personal attention. Expertise Throughout all the details along the way, Ed knew his how to easily maneuver through everything. He managed all the details with expert professionalism, and he made it look a lot easier than I know it was. He has an incredible knowledge of the market, this area and what to expect from the millions of things that can go awry along the way. This man is not just one of many agents in this area; he's one of the very best. Personable/Personality As weeks turned into months and we ventured through the maze of the local real estate market, I found Ed to be a smile in the day. His sense of humor is fun. Never once did I find him to be anything but positive and optimistic'energetic. He was great and I enjoyed his sense of humor during what is, understandably, a stressful time for anyone. He's a people person--naturally. Overall Rating = A+++ ('and then some'.) If anyone not certain about who to select and trust as their real estate agent, I'd be happy to provide more detail individually in emails or even in person. Ed is a very good guy'a white hat, if there ever was one'and he deserves the support and the 'over-and-above' effort in providing a reference for him'he certainly earned it. Ed, thank you'a million and one times. ;-) Cindy Glessner
What can we say about Bob Stammel?
Deanne, I just wanted to once again say 'ThankYou' for going over and above and beyond the call of duty. You have just changed my poor attitude toward realtors. You are truely a credit to the industry and I hope that others also notice you and confirm my feelings as well. Sincerely, Phillip Harber
